English Learner Academic Committee (ELAC)

English Learners Advisory Committee (ELAC)

The purpose of the ELAC is to provide parents of English Learners opportunities to:

- Learn about the programs and resources offered to their student

- Participate in Boynton's needs assessment of students, parents and teachers

- Provide input on ways to support full participation of English Learners in school activities and regular school attendance

 

Topics covered - graduation, parent/student relationships, drugs/alcohol, mental health and college and career readiness
